I wouldn’t go as far as saying u ruined the environment. But I will say that u do contribute to pollution by not disposing of Computers and Microwaves the proper way.

FYI when u participate in community clean-up day, by giving them things u don’t want or need. They normally take responsiblity for disposing it the proper way. That is the whole point of Community Clean up Day. At least in my community it is.

  2. I wouldn’t say ‘destroy’ but that probably didn’t help the cause lol
If you feel that bad, maybe you can try to up your karma points by recycling all your paper products as well as plastic, aluminum and glass (assuming you already recycle all of those) or doing something else to help the planet :)

  3. I took mine to a community cleanup day. Even though it was taken to a dump they do dispose of them the proper way.

  4. 5lbs of lead in a computer “monitor” Not sure about flat screens but they are still toxic due to the PCBs that are in anything electronic. That includes microwaves

the faciulties have people grew thur the garbage and pick out stuff like that so no, you didn’t what you did is give money to the company because they will go and get paid to recycle it

  6. 1 computer monitor = 15 dead trees
    1 microwave = 34 dead animals

  7. no you didn’t ruin the environment, but it may be upset at you, watch out for tornadoes/hurricanes/bad weather depending on where you live. next time you can sell the computer parts for money, that way you would get money and would HAVE to have the part reused :)
