Do horses bond with their owners better if they are in a more natural environment?
Filed under More Green IdeasJul 5I was searching around and came across something that said that horses and their owners bond better when they are in a more natural environment. I was just wondering if this was true or not. If it is true then how can it be?

As long as the horse is happy where it is then you should have no problem, unless it’s a stubborn horse like mine
I find that treats like carrots and sliced apples help, now mine comes right to me when I call her name.Read more replies

If this means out to pasture instead of stall kept, here is why:
The horse’s mind is more relaxed because of the natural movement
The horse’s body gets exercise by everyday movement instead of a forced lunge
The horse can view you as alpha horse because you learn to control normal movement the same way it would happen in the herdIf you were prison kept and turned into an exercise pen for 1/2 hour a day, how willing would you be?

What do you mean by natural enviroment?
My horses are field boarded 24/7 and compared to when they were stall boarded we have a much calmer relationship.
