  SE LA = provides our nation with 1/3 of our seafood. Thousands of people make their living in the Seafood industry and the greed of BP has ruined it for these poor people that have nothing to fall back on. They also ruined the Gulf and the vast marshlands of Louisiana. This problem will still be present when our children are old. Once the crude oil gets into the marshes (seafood breeding grounds), the marsh will die and so will the marine life and then the shore birds.

  What an ecological and economic mess BP is responsible for.

   Do you drive a car? Use electricity? Heat your home?

   Then you are part of the demand for oil. When there is a demand for something there needs to be a supply. In this case, supplying oil means drilling. The energy industy has gone decades with out something like this happening, but accidents do happen. I

   If you really want to complain you will not use any kind of oil/gas based energy. The gulf will recover. Nature is more powerful than you think.

   BP officials are nothing but fat, greedy , pigs who couldn’t give a darn about the environment . Its not their front door so who cares. Not them obviously. Make them get in there physically and clean it up. Pigs.

   BP is the fall guy in this case. To begin with they did not build the platform. They took over after everything was done. I blame the U S government for allowing the builder to do things and take short cuts in order to save money in building it. Lobbyist with plenty of cash can do amazing things.
   It already came out that the shut off valve was not tested. Our government was to make sure the test were run to our satisfaction. Again Money can get things done very easily. I just found out that we can not fire the people who allowed this mess to happen and that is wrong.
