How would the environment be better off if the drinking age was lifted?

Car accidents would go through the roof. Grown adults of legal age drink and drive and die in car accidents, what would happen if already immature kids were legally able to drink. (not to say they don’t already but at least the age limit scares some out of it, and keeps it limited)

Well it could bring down car accidents rates. The way it is now you get inexperienced drivers becoming inexperienced drinkers. If people could drink at a younger age they would have an idea of how it affects them before they start driving. Also drinking wouldn’t be such a big deal so there would be less peer pressure to drink. You would also eliminate the need for youngsters to go someplace to drink. They could stay at home and not be on the roads at all.
