    is global climate change real?

  • Jan 30

A leading British climate scientist has come under pressure to resign over a series of leaked e-mails, which global warming sceptics say point to a mass conspiracy. The scandal erupted after a research server was hacked into, and private e-mails and documents were released, suggesting that scientists may have colluded to prevent the release of climate data.

This video, the second in the series, looks at alternative hypotheses explaining global warming. I am only looking at alternative hypotheses put forward by real, professional climate researchers, and the findings of real, professional climate researchers who disagree with them. Yes, I’ve left a lot of the detail out. This is a 10-minute video summarizing the arguments and counter-arguments, not a PhD thesis. The comments forum will be free and open, as always, but if you disagree with what real, professional climate scientists say, please take it up with them and dont expect me to defend their point of view. If you have a stunning piece of scientific evidence that disproves one side or the other, dont waste time on my channel, write a paper, and get it peer-reviewed and published in a reputable journal. PLEASE NOTE — ERROR — I quoted from an Oreskes Paper and incorrectly stated that nearly 700 papers “explicitely endorsed the view that man-made gases are responsible. This should read that these papers “explicitly or implicity endorsed the view that man-made gases are responsible.” The papers that “implicitly” implied it were those that dealt with effects or mitigation measures. The original should not have been in quotation marks either. My apologies for the error.

How often do you work with other 13F like in a COLT team? How often do you actually call fore fire in a real situation? Do you ever collect intel and do recon? Do you do grunt work? Are you ostracized by the 11Bs?

    Best reply by redleg:

As a new 13F, 9 times out of 10 you will be assigned as the RTO (radio operator) to a maneuver (Infantry or Armor) platoon FIST (fire support team). You and a 13F senior SPC or SGT will be responsible for planning and executing the maneuver platoon’s fire plan. You will work directly with the Platoon leader nd Platoon Sergeant (along with your FIST leader and NCO) to accomplish this task. And your Infantry brethren by and large will look at you as another grunt with a special set of skills (and who also knows how to operate a radio and a GPS)
