    Climate Change = none
Damage to the Earth = cutting down the rain forest, putting toxic waste in rivers and streams,
we should go back to paper bags and containers, plastic doesn’t rot in land fills.
Stop putting Chlorine in drinking water it’s killing everyone, google it!

Question by Ben O: Is human made climate change like the emperors new clothes?

Proponents of human made climate change like to imply that intelligent people can see evidence and only fools cannot.

Doesn’t this seem very familiar like the childrens story of the emperor’s new clothes?
Pegminer – That kind of proves my point doesn’t it – only wise men can see the proof – if there was any to see.
You seem to have a bit of a hero complex yourself Pegminer – saving the world from destruction – you’re a regular Superman.

Evidence of human caused climate change are exactly the emperor’s new clothes, as it in reality does not exist.

Question by Jim D: How much of global warming is human civilization responsible for?

The last Ice age end 18,000 years ago at which point global warming began. This is before human civilization. So man didn’t start global warming but is contributing to the situation. I find that the warming rate is still a point of discussion but the total is around 2 degrees F every ten years. What part of the 2 deg F is caused by human civilization?
Leon – You need to do some reading and get the facts. The ice started melting before man built a city.
Larry B – “Climate models referenced by the IPCC project that global surface temperatures are likely to increase by 1.1 to 6.4 °C (2.0 to 11.5 °F) between 1990 and 2100.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming
So we are talking about .2 – 1.1 deg F over 10 years from your source, but I have seen some at 2.5 deg F per 10 years.
Jeff P – What part of you speech is the answer to the question?
Hypofocus – I’m asking a question in order to make informed decisions. I’m not one of the sheep just getting in line!
Bob – Thanks for the graph, it paints a good picture.

Question by bigboi625: What is the correlation between human evoution and climate change?

I’m supposed to do a report about this. So do any of you know a good source for this kind of subject? I mean can climate change really triggers human evolution because from many sources that I have read, all of them claimed that it all started from africa.

    Best answer:

    Answer by QFL 24-7
Man originated from earlier primates in eastern Africa. The big step in their evolution is the drying of eastern Africa about 4 million years ago. When the jungles died and separated, what would become man developed a locking knee joint. This enabled them to walk much farther (and endurance run) to cover more ground and obtain more resources, putting them at a distinct advantage to other primates. If you don’t believe me, try walking around without locking your knee, it’s hard and taxing.

This adaptation allowed for the development of many other things that we’ve come to love: our large heads and brains (when we were strictly bipedal, we free up our hands for projects, and this favors big brains), short rib cage (for flexibility), and big butts (something has to give you balance when you don’t have a tail).

This climate change occurred when New Guinea moved in the way of a prominent current that brought warm, moist water to east Africa. Over time, these newly smart, adapted primates radiated out of Africa and to the rest of the world. See links below for more info.

Question by Apophis Ascended: Is it possible to convert human body fat to a biofuel to power diesel vehicles?

If it is possible, we could kill two birds with one stone. We could get the federal government to subsidize liposuction, and then render the waste human fat into biodiesel. We could then assist in alleviating the nation’s obesity problem with subsidized liposuction, and/or pay contributors for their body fat. Would it/could it work?

Sounds like it would work to me. Good Luck.

Question by Chris O: What human contribution is made to climate change and global warming?

What do you think the two most significant contributions that mankind is making to climate change and why?

    Best answer:

    Answer by wewantthefunk giveupthefunk
    Contribution number one:

The industrial revolution – coal burning factories/trains/steamengines, more jobs, more money, more babies, more economy, higher standard of living = more burning of coal = more CO2 emmissions = artificial global warming.

    Contribution number two:

Henry Ford – A genius. He invented the assembly line for automobiles. Better transportation = more burning of oil= better economy, more jobs, more babies, higher standard of living = more burning of oil.

Dont worry fossil fuels will run out soon and we’ll all starve to death because our farming systems rely heavily on fossil fuels; it kinda like mother nature’s way of saying fuck you. Oh wait we are a part of mother nature, I guess she made a mistake:(

Question by Poyzin: Is the ultimate goal of Al Gore and the global warming nazis to control human behavior?

Are we all going to have to ask Al Gore and the Global Warming Nazis permission every time we want to use our car, as if we are a child?

Are we going to have our heater turned on for us, and set for us and we won’t be allowed to touch the thermostat, just like children?

Are we going to be told where to live and all of our errands planned out for us, so we don’t spend more time than absolutely necessary using energy? Just as if we were children?
