Is it wrong for a guy to wear a suit and tie in a business casual work environment?
Filed under More Green IdeasAug 10My man just got himself a new job. He has always hated the business casual dress code. He wants instead to wear a suit a suit and tie. Is it a bad idea for him to dress that formally when nobody else does.
Best reply by Atrina:
I dont think so, I think it shows an strong initiative for professionally. However, if anyone brings it up and thinks it’s off, maybe wear jeans with his suit jacket and tie? It “casualizes” the business attire.

Have you looked for icebreaker type games?
http://wilderdom.com/games/Icebreakers.html has a few good ones.
Most aren’t incredibly complex and they’re all about working together.
Animal sounds and Zoom sound like decent games, but it all depends on how alert the individuals you’re dealing with are. The good thing is, most icebreaker games are for adults in business type settings, so you’re not likely to run the risk of it being too childish.

What college degree should I get for someone who loves nature, the environment, and animals?
Filed under More Green IdeasJul 28I want to do something the relates to animals, the environment, or nature, but I don’t know what degree I should get that has a good job outlook. Like for example, it is much easier to find jobs relating to computers, nursing, or business stuff, but not so much environmentalist or zoologist.

I landed a temporary job doing simple data entry for a company, and it’s casual wear (collar shirt, khakis). However, I only have sneakers, so I would have to go out to buy some new shoes today (because I start tomorrow). What sort of shoes would they expect me to wear?
Best reply by Andrea:
Vans or Converse

Is it the job of the EPA to protect the environment, if so why aren’t they doing it?
Filed under More Green IdeasJul 5While BP is trying to stop the leak wouldn’t it make sense to have the EPA doing something about the damage to the environment it’s causing? What are they doing that’s so important they can’t do their only job, their only reason for existing?
Best reply by Duck Hetchel:
That’s not the EPA’s job.
