Why is 0bama intentionally trying to destroy the environment around the Gulf of Mexico with oil?
Filed under More Green IdeasAug 10He blocked several nations from helping us in the clean up.
He has refused to allow the expertise of other oil companies (Exxon, Shell, Conoco, etc.) to be used.
Shrimpers laid out more booms than the government even while government directed boats were being kept in harbor.
Is 0bama trying to destroy our planet and the US or is he just blatantly incompetent like so many Dems?
Best reply by Nancy’s Botox Lips:
Its clear that obama hates America
the least he could do is get the FEDS out of the way, and let real people clean up the mess
He is a disgusting traitor, pathetic scum
he is destroying America every chance he gets

What effects does climate and environment have on how the oil spills are controlled or contained?
Filed under More Green IdeasJul 5im doing a class project and i want to know how does the climate affect how oil spills are controlled.
Best reply by La Chaparra:
i think the climate makes it harder to contain and control the oil spill. the climate and environment are both very surprising due to being able to change at any second without warning and uncontrollable so that almost anything can make the oil spill get either worde and spread even more or better by well…idk for sure but.. basically i think the climate and weather make it harder and dont help.

I’m a little more than pissed off about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and have been reading the Environment section of this website, then I look at my air conditioner. That thing isn’t perpetuating the issue I’m trying to find compassion for, is it?
v_v
Also do you have any tips like, driving less or reducing waste?
my thumbs down cares about global warming, BITCH!Best reply by Cable:

What’s worse for the environment? The oil spill in the Gulf Coast or having 19 kids?
Filed under More Green IdeasJul 5What’s worse for the environment? The oil spill in the Gulf or a woman who has 19 kids?
Best reply by Cali:
Both equally bad but the oil spill will be cleaned up eventually. The 19 kids will have children of their own thus contributing to overpopulation for far into the future.

Is BP Failure to Stop Spill proof private Corps are worthless to protect people & environment?
Filed under More Green IdeasJul 5The anti-government Tea People and some of the hard right wing GOP all say that government is the enemy and private business does a better job at everything. But the BP massive spill, the worst environmental disaster in the US, and their failure to install shut off valves or to stop the oil leak, prove that private companies are worthless when it comes to protecting Americans, their livelihood, their oceans, their wetlands, and the environment? Does it look like the government has to step in and do the job that private business is incapable of doing?
Best reply by Abdullah the Rula II:
Don’t go mixing up the real Tea Party with the base of the GOP, which have basically nothing in common.

I am doing this project in my Science class and I am in the environment side. I need to find out how the BP oil spill affect the environment. Please help!
Best reply by Traveler:
The food chain will be severely disrupted as the oil destroys life in the gulf.
The results of this spill will last for decades and will be evident for generations.

EnviroMission Limited (www.enviromission.com.au) produced this 5 minute video on the pilot plant in Spain. It is an older video (2000) but gives a decent understanding of the solar tower concept. EnviroMission, Ltd. (US Market: EVOMY, Australian Exchange: EVM) is a renewable energy developer of sustainable “green” energy solutions for the energy market. EnviroMission aims to be one of Australia’s leading producers of clean renewable energy. EnviroMission holds the proprietary rights to Solar Tower technology, a large-scale renewable energy technology based on simple fundamentals of physics — hot air rises. Solar Tower technology has the potential to offer competitive renewable energy with equal reliability to fossil fuel generators. A single 200MW Solar Tower power station will provide enough electricity to power around 400000 households. The energy output will represent an annual saving of more than 1960000 tonnes of greenhouse CO2 gases from entering the environment when compared to brown coal emissions in Victoria. The greenhouse savings equate to the removal of approximately 500000 cars from the road. The Australian Solar Tower project consists of six distinct phases, the first two of which (project optimization and pre-feasibility commercialization) have already been completed. The third phase (final feasibility), paving the way for the implementation of the next three phases (final design, construction, and commercial operation).
