Question by Herman: Why were Al Gore’s lectures always not open to the public?
Gore only permitted invited people to his Global warming lectures. He wouldn’t allow the general public or anyone in disagreement with him to enter the meeting. If one is truly interested in “debate” then one has to hear from BOTH sides of the issue. Not to mention the fact that Al Gore has absolutely no science background and that he is the founder of a multi billion dollar corporation that invests in green technology stocks. If one truly wanted to “save the earth” would you also try to profit from your claims? Wouldn’t you want to save humanity for the sake of that cause alone? Is anyone else here smelling a rat?Best answer:

Q&A: What environmental conditions could a plant be in that would decrease percentage of stomata open?
Filed under Million Green IdeasJan 31Question by (:: What environmental conditions could a plant be in that would decrease percentage of stomata open?
List at least 5 environmental conditions that a plant could be in that would decrease the percentage of stomata open:I have these so far, are they right?
1. Light
2. Humidity?
3.Best answer:
Answer by Luke Collins
Darkness would stop the stomata from opening, simply because its not needed during darkness for photosynthesis since it can’t occur, submergance in water could trigger a closure of the stomata to prevent excess water uptake. Humidity does indeed close the stomata as well because humidity causes evaporation, and to prevent water loss, the stoma would close. Light would cause it to open however, because during photosynthesis, the stomata open to let carbon dioxide to diffuse. Increased/decreased air movement would also trigger the stoma to close, responding to environmental stimuli. Hope this helped.Give your answer to this question below!
