Question by Lindsey G: What will it take for Americans to realize that we need to work even harder to find alternative energy?


It takes a war for oil, sending our troops to die for oil, gas prices skyrocketing, proposing to drill and destroy Alaska (one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. who’s ecosystem is already suffering from warming due to using gas), global warming and middle eastern powers and terrorists having something we need from them….all these things we do for oil. Isn’t it time we wake up? We need to work harder to find alternative energy!

McCain and Palin will do it. Palin was doing it by herself up in Alaska. She knows that will change our foreign policy and economy more than anything our useless Congress could do.

our country has to offer? Homosexuals, welfare bums, illegals, America-hating pastors and handout seekers seem to comprise the majority of liberals. Isn’t a good thing that Al Gore has provided us with the tools to inform ourselves?

I want to help the Earth for the people of the future but how would I go about doing that?
I recycle, I reuse and I reduce but what else can I do? I don’t feel like I’m contributing enough. I don’t want to be known as the douche bag who never did anything for the Earth. Yes, I realize I’m on a computer. Yes, I do feel stupid right now. But it’s for the Earth.

Tell me, fellow YahooAnswerians, what can a 16 year old do to help the environment?
