Question by james h: Could Al Gore be responsible for the record cold?


Could Al Gore’s plan to reduce Global Warming already be working and the Right Wingers blocking recognition for this noble effort and refusing to give credit where credit is due? Would another Nobel Prize rectify this situation?

Question by Jim D: How much of global warming is human civilization responsible for?


The last Ice age end 18,000 years ago at which point global warming began. This is before human civilization. So man didn’t start global warming but is contributing to the situation. I find that the warming rate is still a point of discussion but the total is around 2 degrees F every ten years. What part of the 2 deg F is caused by human civilization?
Leon – You need to do some reading and get the facts. The ice started melting before man built a city.

So we are talking about .2 – 1.1 deg F over 10 years from your source, but I have seen some at 2.5 deg F per 10 years.

i think 33% global warming is done by human civilization

SE LA = provides our nation with 1/3 of our seafood. Thousands of people make their living in the Seafood industry and the greed of BP has ruined it for these poor people that have nothing to fall back on. They also ruined the Gulf and the vast marshlands of Louisiana. This problem will still be present when our children are old. Once the crude oil gets into the marshes (seafood breeding grounds), the marsh will die and so will the marine life and then the shore birds.

What an ecological and economic mess BP is responsible for.
