Question by Pelosi & Lefts Ruined California: Why Is Al Gore Telling 12 Year Olds Not To Listen To Their Parents?


Al Gore has been traveling around giving speeches to 12-14 year olds telling them they know things their parents don’t know. What is wrong with Al Gore?

I want to know how I can determine my area’s (Rochester NY) yearly solar energy output to see if it would make economic sense to install solar panels. Any websites or resources where I can look?

If you are looking for the cheapest electrical power available solar panels are not going to be what you want.

Roughly solar panels will supply electrical power costing about 3-10 times more than what you can purchase from your local electrical company when averaged over the 20-25 year life of any solar panels.

Go look at how much you spend for your electricity in a single year. Then go look at how many solar panels you can purchase for this amount of cash (In my case I spend about $ 1000 each year for power).

This means that economic “sense” must be tempered with some other desire for the solar panels.

I want to help the Earth for the people of the future but how would I go about doing that?
I recycle, I reuse and I reduce but what else can I do? I don’t feel like I’m contributing enough. I don’t want to be known as the douche bag who never did anything for the Earth. Yes, I realize I’m on a computer. Yes, I do feel stupid right now. But it’s for the Earth.

I’m 16, and I’m not moving out for another year and a half (college).

I just read an article about new year’s resolutions and how if you want to change a habit or any other behavior, you must first change your environment.

So how can one change their environment if they have no control over it whatsoever?

try to change it through them, so let them be part of your changing……..otherwise you will make it harder, also try to get their complete trust and confidence in your deserving…..
